After seeing this photo, I was intrigued to figure out the truth. This came from a page of a conspirator, so I was hesitant at best to believe that any of it was true... So I began to dig.

My Next stop was Wikipedia- learning about the Great Manmade River. Apparently Gaddafi did have some interest in his people after completing what they called the "eight wonder of the world."
So what really happened? My next site I ventured to was Human Rights Investigations.org

Here they offered a complete context of what took place; apparently Gaddafi forces had been using the water factories to hide military weapons. NATO and US claim that minimal damage was done to the infrastructure... who knows?
